Another Moment...

I was looking back at some journaling I have done for projects that haven't manage to find their way to be completed...yet...but it just made me laugh...so I thought I would share it... After a crazy evening of Laser Tag with Alex (7), Reagan (8), Skylar (5) and Kayleigh (13)…we all crammed ourselves into Jennifer’s car and began our eventful trip home. All of the kids were all hyped up from all the excitement from the day…and Jennifer and I were worn out…and maybe even a little lacking in the area of patience. After many attempts (mostly failed) at begging, pleading and even bribing them to be quiet for just one single minute, there was a sudden hush among the car. The conversation thereafter went like this: Skylar: “Ma-ma…can Reagan spend the night tonight?” Jennifer: “Skylar honey, what’s the rule about asking if people can spend the night?” Skylar: “Umm……” Reagan whispers:“You’re not supposed to ask in front of your friend” Skylar: “Oh…” Reagan: “Ms. Jennifer, look, I’m covering my ears… Skylar…ask her now….Ms. Jennifer, I can’t hear her…so go ahead and answer her.” Dona: (tea shooting out of nose) Jennifer: “How can you say no to that?” …her timing is priceless.
